Pune, a historic city, is popularly known as the cultural and educational capital of Maharashtra state in India. It is also recognized as a hub for automobile and IT industries. Travel within the city 
Ola and UBER cabs and metered auto rickshaws (three wheelers) can be hired for travel within the city. The state-run city bus services are also available, but may be crowded many a times.
